Please allow three working days from receipt for us to produce the repeat prescription and remember to check your prescriptions a bit earlier before long bank holiday weekends.
Prescriptions can be collected during Dispensary opening hours, which are Monday to Friday 8:00am until 6:00pm.

For patients who receive their prescriptions via our delivery service then we must have your orders by Friday morning at the latest, if you order via telephone then please call on Thursday.
Prescriptions will not be ready for collection sooner than the 72 hours (3 working days). If you find you have ran out of medication please telephone the Dispensary to discuss, do not just turn up expecting a supply of medication to be given as all medication must be authorised by a GP before it can leave the premises.
We can dispense medication to all our registered patients who live more than 1 mile from a pharmacy. If you live 1 mile or less from a pharmacy then we can only issue you the green paper prescription, we are not allowed to issue you packets of medication. Any patients who live more than 1 mile from a pharmacy but who wish to use a pharmacy for their medications can also choose this option. Please discuss this with dispensary staff.
If you are entitled to free prescriptions or have a valid pre-payment certificate (PPC) please make sure you, or your representative, provide proof of exemption when prescriptions are collected. It is the responsibility of the patient to make sure any exemptions are within date. Once the green paper prescription leaves the Surgery they are randomly checked by NHS Business Services Authority to ensure the exemptions declared are correct. If they find any discrepancies then a fine will be issued direct to the patient.
