You can refer yourself to the NHS for Insomnia via the Sleepstation service. Their team will take the time to understand what’s going wrong with your sleep and support you to improve your sleep. Most people find resolution to their sleep problems within 3-4 weeks. The service uses the gold-standard approach and provides natural resolution, as it’s completely medication free. Eye problems – what to do?The NHS now funds Opticians to undertake assessment of minor and urgent eye conditions under the CUES scheme. Opticians have expert training in eye problems and are better equipped to assess eye conditions than your GP practice. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) ScreeningAn Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) is a potentially life threatening condition, with the highest risk group being males over the age of 65. Screening can help spot a swelling in the aorta early on when it can be treated.
