Accessibility Needs

The practice has same level disabled parking with slope access to the main building with dual handrails and automatic entrance doors (inner doorway width 78cm). The practice operates on a single ground floor level where our accessible toilet is located.

Our reception area has a hearing loop and wheelchair accessible counter. The practice has wheelchairs available for patient use at the surgery on request.

Patients with sensory needs can request to sit in a quiet area (the Wellbeing Room or an alternative space). Ask reception on arrival if required.

Patient information is available in Easy Read and Large Print formats on request. Medication labels can also be made available in Large Print for dispensing patients.

Emergencies

During Surgery hours an emergency is a medical problem that needs attention within 30 minutes. After hours it is a medical problem that cannot wait until the surgery opens.

Language

Please contact the surgery if you believe yourself or a family member may need the assistance of an interpreter at a consultation. The Practice will endeavour to obtain an interpreter if one is not already available.
