Eye problems – what to do?
The NHS now funds Opticians to undertake assessment of minor and urgent eye conditions under the CUES scheme. Opticians have expert training in eye problems and are better equipped to assess eye conditions than your GP practice. They will refer to Hospital when needed.

Minor infections can be treated by a Community Pharmacy when required.
